The OR Tambo District Detectives are committed in bringing the perpetrators of crime to book as they’re conducting raids on the wanted suspects. The raids that were conducted on 17 and 18 January 2020, had positive results when about 33 suspects with ages ranging between 22 to 49, were arrested for crimes from malicious damage to property and robbery.
They will be profiled and linked to other with other crimes.
On the other hand, six suspects have been arrested for selling liquor without license during the raiding of illegal liquor outlets and checking of compliance today.
39 Knives were seized during body searches. One 27 year man was arrested for possession of copper weighing 1.788kg. All will appear before court on Monday 20 January2020.
