Somerset East Station Commander, Captain Zukiswa Mzalisi commended Detective Sergeant Bulelwa Nancy Yantolo, for the thorough investigation and for the conviction which she had secured.

On Tuesday, 4 May 2021, Somerset East Regional Court convicted and sentenced Ebrahim Alifa (29), Ason Mine (24), Lucky Usuf (24) to 15 years Imprisonment for a Business Robbery that had occurred in October 2020.

A Business Robbery criminal case was opened after the three men armed with handguns entered Paktech Shop, Nojoli Street, Somerset East and robbed the shop owner of sixty-six cellular phones and Cellular tablets.

The three suspects who were arrested shortly after the police were notified of the robbery, were found in possession of the stolen Cellphones and Cellular Tablets.

The accused remained in custody for the whole duration of the investigation.
