On 29 July 2021, members attached to Alice Operational Command Centre (OCC) received information about dagga that is being sold at Mavuso and Makuzeni Locations in Alice.
Members swiftly operationalized and on arrival they met the two males and searched them and found one hundred and nine (109) envelopes, fifteen pokes of dagga in their possession and an undisclosed amount of cash.
Police proceeded to another house at Makhuzeni location in Alice and on arrival they met the house owner and a search was conducted during which police recovered ten pokes of dagga, thirty one small plastics and nine medium plastics containing dagga, ninety seven small plastics containing Tik and five medium plastics containing Tik, twenty halves of boss mandrax, two quarter of boss mandrax and forty seven full of boss mandrax tablets.
Three suspects aged between 28 and 54 years were arrested and charged for possession of drugs.
These suspects are due to appear before Alice magistrate court on 30 July 2021.
