In line with Back to Basics policing approach, the Police Management in the Eastern Cape will hand over 22 vehicles to various Clusters Commanders for Flying Squad and Highway Patrol to capacitate police visibility.
Additional four vehicles will be handed over to Motherwell Trio Crimes Task Team to further capacitate them in dealing with hijackings, business robberies, house robberies and other serious crimes in that cluster. The vehicles will be managed from the Cluster Operational Command Centres, who will be monitoring the crime and dispatch them accordingly.
The handing over will take place on 21 June 2017 at 10:00. Venue – SAPS Provincial Head Office, Zwelitsha Road, Zwelitsha
