Willowvale Police arrested two men for possession of unlicensed firearms and ammunitions. Both suspects were arrested on Saturday, 5 October 2019, at about 21h45 at Willowvale town.
A 20 year old suspect was arrested for possession of unlicensed pistol which had three rounds of ammunition. A 26 year old suspect was arrested for possession of unlicensed firearm namely, a pistol which had six rounds of ammunition.
Both firearms will be sent for ballistic testing to establish if they were not used in the commission of crimes around Willowvale. Both suspects will appear before the Willowvale Magistrate’s Court on Monday, 7 October 2019 on charges of possession of unlicensed firearms and ammunitions.
