On 29 June 2018, at about 12:15, three males robbed the Good News Community Church in Stofile Street, New Brighton.
While one suspect remained on guard outside, two armed suspects entered the church office side where about 15 congregation members were busy preparing food for a church function.
The suspects demanded their cell phones and cash money. A total of 6 phones and cash money belongings were taken by the suspects. No church money was taken and no shots were fired.
The three males then fled the scene on foot.
