The deputy minister of higher education, Mduduzi Manana’s resignation, and summary arrest is claimed after he was caught on video assaulting a woman at a nightclub.
Opposition parties also demanded that the Public Protector investigate the matter because the Ethics Act is violated by a member of parliament.
The woman who was assaulted apparently called Manana “gay” during an argument.
President Zuma is apparently “upset” about the events.
Meanwhile, the public changed the minister’s designation to that of “Higher Assault,” and demanded that he should be hunted down and arrested, as is the case with six white men who assaulted people at a KFC.
