Denel announced that the bursary award to Supra Mahumapelo’s son of R1,1 million has been canceled. Denel initially denied that the award was improper and that any allegations about it were false.
Denel now admits that the bursary was awarded without the proper procedure and that the flight training school where the training was to take place is approved by Denel.
It seems that Denel continually makes decisions based on racist grounds, and often because of such actions, the bankrupt arms manufacturer continues to decline, experts say.
