Bothaville, South Africa – An angry Crawford von Abo, well known farmer and businessman who was attacked and injured in a farm attack by a gang of robbers, said the focus are on Zama’s many wives, Nkandla, the Dalai Lama’s visa and the Marikana Mine shootings instead of on white people being murdered.

He also said opposition parties, churches and the news media underplay the crime situation in the country.

The 81 year old Von Abo, his 79 year old wife Bibi and their 2 domestic workers, were attacked by a gang of 6, who wanted money and threatened to kill Von Abo.

They were assaulted for more than a hour and a half.

Van Abo said its time for the ANC government and the police, to put words into action, when it comes to the protection of farmers.

It was the 3rd time he was a victim of crime.

He wants the death penalty and corporal punishment back on the law books of the country.

Von Abo lost in the 1970’s farmland to the value of R700 million in Zimbabwe. He wanted the SA government to reimburse him for his losses, but his 10 year court battle came to nothing when the appeal to the constitutional court was denied.
