By day, Precious Poppy Tau is an ANC councillor in Middelburg.
But by night, she’s allegedly an armed robber targeting hitchhikers on highways between Middelburg and Springs.
Captain Khanyisile Zwane, a spokesperson for the Middelburg Police Station, said Tau was accused of robbing several women along the highways last year.
