The Road Traffic Management Corporation in conjunction with the National Road Anti-Corruption Unit arrested four officers at a test station.
Vehicle road-worthiness certificates were issued on an ID document of a 64-year-old man who is bedridden.
This brings the total number of officers detained at test stations to 20 in the last three months.
Unroadworthy vehicles are responsible for many accidents on SA roads.
