While China tries to get greater access to the South African market after its R33 billion loan to Eskom (at a particularly high interest rate), its products are under suspicion.

China exports a product to South Africa used in a blood pressure pill, and that product has dangerous chemicals that can cause cancer.

The product Valsartan coming from China is used in the blood pressure pill Dynaval Co. The manufacturers have now revoked the pill, but it is feared that it is too late for the thousands of people who used the product over a long period of time.

Products containing Valsartan were also recalled in Europe and America earlier.

People who use or posses Dynaval Co should take it back to their pharmacies immediately.
