Even though the ANC leader Jacob Zuma, kept away from his outspoken anti-white sentiments issued last week at the Chris Hani Memorial, during the Easter services, he still holds the same views.

After declaring in essence that he was appointed by God as a political leader, and referring to the marches claiming his head, he said he saw people participating in marches that never participated in demonstrations before, and this is for him an indication of what these marches are all about.

Observers say that he explicitly refers to the white community, who do not usually participate in the culture of marches and vandalism, as they prefer to work than be on the streets. Zuma tried to turn the marches into a racial issue.

Meanwhile, FF + submitted a charge of hate speech against Zuma to the Human Rights Commission (HRC) over his remarks at the Hani death memorial. The party considered the comments as nothing more than hate speech against whites of the country that could lead to unnecessary racial tension.

“The president now makes a habit of insulting whites, and the HRC will have to ask him what he wants to achieve. It increasingly appears to have become ANC policy to fight and destroy all that is white,” said FF + spokesperson Adv. Anton Alberts.

A different racial incident also ended up on the HRC’s table, and it is the threats made by the mayor of Ekurhuleni, Mzwandile Masina, at the same memorial. The FF + councilor of the municipality, Jennifer Rautenbach, referred this to the HRC for review.

Rautenbach said the remarks made by the mayor, is extremely worrying and the impression it creates is that whites can be seriously harmed if they do not agree with everything that the ANC government does.
