At about 09:30 on November 24, 2014, Marshall Security’s control room received multiple calls from clients and members of the public that a shootout was in progress in North Coast Road and behind the Bluff Meat Supply, multiple vehicles and our Special Operation Team were dispatched to the scene.
Upon arrival it was ascertained that 4 suspects who had robbed a Cash in transit van in the Caltex Garage on North Coast Road had fled after robbing the Security Personnel of a cash box and firing shots at them, Various SAPS units were on scene.
Two suspects had fled on foot into the bush behind Bluff Meat Supply, one had fled in the getaway vehicle and the 4th suspect fled on foot down North Coast Road.
Members on scene arrested all 4 suspects and recovered the Cash box, Vehicle and the two firearms that were used.
