It has come to light that the World Bank and five other international financial institutions had already warned Lynne Brown in November to get Eskoms board and management in order.

Despite the warning, she reappointed Matshela Koko and Prish Govender.

Moodys has further reduced Eskom’s credit rating last Friday, 26 January 2018, which means that Eskom has now climbed on to the rubbish heap.

Observers are asking how much longer can Brown remain a minister, just moving from one mess to another?

With this said it still seems that Jacob Zuma’s influence is so strong that his puppets can not be moved.

Jesse Duarte, ANC Deputy Secretary General Deputy Secretary General, defended Zuma and said he would serve his full term and that he was a casualty of victimization!
