Boer Afrikaner Volksraad Pre-election plans

Die Vryburger

Several proposals have been received on the way forward for the Boer Afrikaner Volksraad, and the Volk’s Electoral Commission (VEC) has consolidated the plans to 27, and people can vote for the two proposals at the national meetings.

This news was stated by the chairman of the VEC, Mr. Paul Kruger.

In a statement, Mr. Kruger noted that the ANC government had signed the International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights (“ICCPR”) on October 3, 1994, the same day after in April that year, by the surrender of the De Klerk government. Article 1 of the ICCPR provides: “All peoples have the right to self-determination. Regarding that right, people freely determine their political status … ”

Mr. Kruger said it means we have the right to be free. “But as long as we do not try to get away from the ANC regime, we will be enslaved and oppressed; And we should not complain about it. The People’s Council, which we chose in 2011, followed the path prescribed by the Law in this regard and the long paper trail that had to be addressed. Now the ball is in the hands of the people.”

Since June 2017, the VEC and the House of Assembly held national meetings at which the people had the opportunity to submit proposals on the way forward.

About one hundred such proposals have been received, and they have been consolidated to a total of 27. Those proposals are set out on a ballot paper, and they will be put to the vote at two Volk meetings: The first will be in Bloemfontein on 12 August 2017, and the second at Paardekraal, Krugersdorp, on 19 August 2017.

The details of the meetings are Bloemfontein, 12 August 2017 at 10:00 in the AP Church Hall of the Bainsvlei Town, 1 Topsy Smith Street, Langenhovenpark, Bloemfontein.

Krugersdorp, 19 August 2017 at 10:00 at the Paardekraal Monument site, corner Paardekraal Road and Andries Pretorius Street, Krugersdorp.
