BLF still intimidates journalists

Die Vryburger

The Guptaminded radical group Black First Land First (BFLF) has its knife in for journalists who do not dance to their tune.

Their list of journalists, who apparently they want to get rid of, grows by the day, and even includes famous, far left journalists like Max du Preez.

The South African Editorial Forum (Sanef) has now urgently applied to prevent BFLF and its leader, Andile Mngxitama, from further intimidation.

Sanef asked the court to prevent Mngxitama and BFLF from harassing, intimidating, assaulting and threatening reporters and editors on their reporting and analysis of corruption and statehood.

Two journalists have already been assaulted by BFLF and the other who are targeted fear the same fate.

Sanef asked journalists to wear a black bracelet today to show their support for the court application.
