The British PR Company, Bell Pottinger, has fired a leading partner and suspended another two members.
The people involved are accused of supporting and funding campaigns that resulted in racial divisions in South Africa.
Bell Pottinger was the company that had to improve the image of the infamous Gupta’s Oakbay Capital company, and the suspended/dismissed staff members apparently managed the Oakbay account.
The campaign against the so-called “white monopoly capital” was devised by Bell Pottinger and led to massive racial polarization.
According to Bell Pottinger’s management, they were deceived by partners and workers and apologized to all persons affected by the action.
The investigation against Bell Pottinger continues.
