The Australian Minister of home affairs described the situation of South African farmers as scary and said that it was necessary to look forward to accelerating farmers’ visa applications.

The ANC government immediately condemned the statements.

More than 500 000 South Africans have left the country in the last 30 years and it is estimated that another 112 000 can leave the country in the next five years.

It is gratifying that the eyes of foreign countries are opening.

Meanwhile, Cyril Ramaphosa in parliament said it was not revolutionary to encourage people to occupy land.
