Another Gupta ‘agent’ resigns

Die Vryburger

Alexander Forbes announced the resignation of their non-executive director, Moses Kgosana, with immediate effect.

Kgosana would have taken over the position as chairman of KPMG on 31 August, but last week it was revealed that he has close ties with Atul Gupta. The commitment he apparently had during the time is that KPMG was involved in the Oakbay group as auditors and advisors.

The Guptas luxury wedding has apparently been written off as “business expenses,” and a possible investigation into tax evasion is currently also a possibility.

Meanwhile, KPMG will also undertake an investigation, despite the fact that they broke the ties with the Guptas several years ago.
