Mxolisi Saddy Zuma, son of Jacob Zuma with his late wife, Kate Manstho, sourced a broker to buy Altech UEC.
It was to help the company to obtain a multi billion rand contract.
It was alleged that he would receive R54 million as a “consultancy fee” for his work. The deal, however, fell through.
Two senior members of staff at Altech was involved in the negotiations, but the company has confirmed that no fees will be paid as the tender was not granted.
But it also means that the company was prepared to engage in bribery.
Three other sons of Zuma, Duduzane, Khulubuse, and Mqondisi are also accused of being favored by their father with negotiations to acquire contracts.
