Johannesburg – An alleged copper cable theft kingpin was expected to appear in the Polokwane Magistrate’s Court on Wednesday, Limpopo police said.
Brigadier Hangwani Mulaudzi said the 37-year-old man was arrested in Westernburg, outside Polokwane, on Tuesday, with copper cables worth R700 000.
“Further investigations led the team to a scrap metal dealer in Ladana where a further 800kg of suspected processed copper was confiscated,” he said…
