ABET CLASS FOR SHAUN “the Sheep “ABRAHAMS.
ABET LESSON NR 2
SUBJECT STATE CAPTURE.
Introduction

Zuma bad man.
Guptas bad men.
Zumas and Guptas skelm.
Zumas and Guptas mafia.
Zumas and Guptas steal taxpayer money.

Zumas and Guptas stole R80 billion or so, rough estimate. We can work on how much is a billion in another ABET lesson.

Zuma sold the state to the Guptas. [We will get to this Shaun, be patient. Now sit still and don’t blow yourself up like a bullfrog]

What is State Capture?

State Capture just means that Kom Raid #783 and the Gupta family formed a criminal cartel, a Mafia organization, a syndicate to gain control of the State Owned Enterprises – Transnet, Eskom, SABC, Denel, but not only SOE’s, in fact, all government departments.

Why?

Simply because big money is involved, Shaun.

If you control the SOE’s and other government departments, you control who gets the tenders.
The Cartel can make money in 2 ways:

1- They can either give the tenders directly to Gupta companies. Like coal deals, at inflated prices, for the Gupta coal companies like Optimum Coal, Brakfontein mine, and Idwala Coal.

Talking about Optimum Coal, The Cartel organized the transfer of that very lucrative mine from Glencore to the Guptas without the Guptas paying a cent. The Guptas got that mine, with a 10% stake in the Richards Bay Coal Terminal attached, entirely free of charge, for mahala. That is what State Capture means Shaun; you get things for free, mines as well.

Ok, I see you put up your hand Shaun. I know what you want to ask. You want to ask why the Guptas get things for free? Now put down your hand, I will tell you.

You see, the Guptas get things for free because the Guptas and the Zuma family are business partners Shaun.

President Kom Raid #783’s son, Duduzane, who the NPA let off the hook in a culpable homicide case in which he killed two women, is a major shareholder in all the Gupta companies.

President Kom Raid #783 just works through his son. Duduzane is just the Zuma family’s representative and proxy on the Gupta company boards.

Now we get to the second way in which the Guptas make money from the SOE’s. Now pay attention here Shaun, remember you will write the exam on this.

It’s called “The kickback”

You see if you control an SOE, you control who gets the tenders. You are like a gatekeeper, it’s like the protection rackets run by the American Mafia. Did you ever watch Godfather movies, Shaun?

What are you saying? Did I hear correct? You say that gave you ideas? Jy sal n moviese pak slae kry hoor !
Now concentrate Shaun, this part is tricky.

The kickback works like this:

Say for instance, there is a tender. All that you do is you calculate 10 % of the value of the tender. This 10 % of the tender is your commission, your “cold drink,” your tsho tsho money Shaun.

You ask is this possible? Yes, it is possible, and it happened.

The first time this happened was when the amaBhungane Centre for Investigative journalism discovered that Neotel paid a R100 million kickback to the Gupta front company Homix, in order for Neotel to get a tender with Transnet.

Transnet was at the time already captured and run by Brian Molefe as CEO and Anoj Singh as the CFO. Both are prominent Cartel facilitators.

It has recently come to light in the #GuptaLeaks that many other corporations like SAP, Liebherr, McKinsey, and Software AG had to pay “The Kickback ” to Gupta front companies in order for them to be awarded tenders with captured SOE’s like Transnet and Eskom.

Shaun, pls take note, “The Kickback” is definitely a corrupt practice and punishable by law.

Just for your information here, the #GuptaLeaks also revealed that the Guptas got a kickback of R5, 3 billion from China South Rail for them to enter into a tender with Transnet for the supply of locomotives.

Ok, I see you are getting tired, Shaun. We will get to ABET Lesson #3 in a while. Now go and study, exam soon on Lesson #2
