Estcourt – KZN police spokesperson, Thulani Zwane, says the elderly man’s body was discovered by neighbours in the early hours of January 5, 2015 with a gun shot wound.
He says investigations so far have led to the recovery of the man’s bakkie at Ezakhani.
Zwane says the suspects fled in the bakkie after robbing and killing the farmer.
“His bakkie, laptop computer and cellphone were taken and the suspects are still at large.
