Information was received by Tracker about two vehicles (Toyota Hilux bakkies) that were reported stolen earlier on Thursday, 24 July 2020 at a hospital in Bellville, Cape Town.

At about 20:00 on Thursday, the newly established Mangaung Metro Task Team, mobilised and intercepted the stolen vehicles that were positively identified near Tierpoort on the N1.

During the operation a third vehicle, a white Toyota Fortuner, was also discovered.

All three vehicles were intercepted on the N1 and the three drivers aged between 33 and 46 were arrested.

They will make appear in the Bloemfontein Magistrate’s Court soon for possession of suspected stolen vehicle, possession of vehicle theft implements and conspiracy to commit crime.
