26 Years of ANC looting - South Africa downgraded to 'Junk' status

After the destruction and looting by the ANC government for the last 26 years, Moody’s has become the last of the big three credit-rating agencies to downgrade South Africa’s sovereign credit rating to ‘junk’ status. The announcement was made late on Friday night, 27 March 2020. The decision has been widely expected.

”The decision by Moody’s could not have come at a worse time,” National Treasury said in a statement. “South Africa, like many other countries, is seized with containing the outbreak of the coronavirus.”
