During February 2022 there were seventeen farm attacks and three farm murders in South Africa. During the month of January 2022, there were fourteen farm attacks and four farm murders in the country, two farm attacks were successfully averted during this period.
The police continue to refuse in making theses atrocities priority crimes.
During December 2021 there were thirteen farm attacks and one farm murder in the country.
During the month of November 2021, there were seventeen farm attacks and three farm murders in the country.

January 2021 – 21 farm attacks and 0 farm murders.
February 2021 – 17 farm attacks and 3 farm murders.
March 2021 – 36 farm attacks and 5 farm murders.
April 2021 – 24 farm attacks and 7 farm murders.
May 2021 – 23 farm attacks and 3 farm murders.
June 2021 – 23 farm attacks and 5 farm murders.
July 2021 – 21 farm attacks and 1 farm murder.
August 2021 – 26 farm attacks and 9 farm murders.
September 2021 – 13 farm attacks and 3 farm murders.
October 2021 – 14 Farm attacks and 3 farm murders.
November 2021 – 17 Farm attacks and 3 farm murders.
December 2021 – 13 Farm attacks and 1 farm murder.
For the period 1 January to 31 December 2020, on average, a farmer in South Africa was murdered every 4.7 days. There were 77 farm murders and 446 farm attacks, that is an attack every 1.2 days, in the country.
