Visitors to this year’s Decorex Cape Town (16-19 June 2022 at the CTICC) will be able to take in a futuristic vehicle garage. This electrifying display, brought to you by Audi, encapsulates an environment of luxury and modern interior design, conceptualised by international award-winning designer, Donald Nxumalo.
The Garage of the Future – Progressed by Audi
Let’s embrace an attitude towards the future. You’re headed home in your fully electric vehicle, and as you pull up to your garage you are welcomed by a cladded tunnel formed in engineered materials by Cosentino. You drive in over Seamless Flooring, park and plug your vehicle on charge, to be greeted by soundwaves of 4th Industrial Revolution T-pop.
The garage is not just a haven for your car anymore. It will become a vehicle showcase and experience space, replete with designer seating – in this case a lounging area by Donald Nxumalo Interior Design – that makes for heaven for modern metalheads.
For Decorex Cape Town, leading automotive design of the future is also included, and the new Audi RS e-tron GT will be on display. It’s the future of electric mobility with a focus on design, performance, digitalisation and sustainability.
Decorex Cape Town will take place from 16-19 June 2022 at the Cape Town International Convention Centre (CTICC).
