The Radisson Blu Gautrain Hotel, Sandton, recently hosted a special “Blu Match Day” experience with former professional footballer Linda Mntambo, held just one day after he officially announced his retirement from the sport.
Following a distinguished decade-long career, most notably as captain of Sekhukhune United, Mntambo has retired to focus on his family. Reflecting on his journey, he shared, “The biggest sacrifice I made for my career was knowing I couldn’t be fully present to see my children grow up or be there for them emotionally.” In the wake of his announcement, the hotel provided an ideal setting for him to mark this new chapter in the company of close friends and family
