With a little inspiration from cupid, Endless Horizons restaurant chef has lovingly created two special menus for you to enjoy with that special someone on Valentines night in one of the most unforgettable dining spots in Durban – it’s dinner with a difference!

The Restaurant can be found in the Endless Horizons Boutique Hotel who won the 2014 Best Luxury Boutique Hotel in the World at the World Luxury Hotel Awards, is perfectly situated in the heart of Durban’s chic suburb of Durban North, a picture of understated luxury. It’s elegant and modern, yet warm and inviting. It offers spectacular 180-degree views of the Indian Ocean.

On arrival, be welcomed with freshly shucked Oysters and Shallot Marinade  or Study of Duck (smoked Duck Breast, Confited Leg, Duck Liver Parfait, Apple Crisp, Herb Salad, Port Glaze) paired with Wildekrans MCC Brut/Rose

Mains include Grilled Beef Fillet (with Bacon and Rocket Mash, Sautéed Vegetables, Wild Mushroom and Truffle Cream), Pan Fried Line Fish of the Day (Cauliflower Puree, Cape Malay Curry Cream, Broccoli, Tomato Caper Salad) or for our vegetarian guests there is Goats Cheese and Roasted Vegetable Strudel (with Rosa Tomato Beurre Blanc and Basil Pesto).

The sweetest way to end a romantic Valentine dinner is with dessert. These include a Summer Berry Bowl (Strawberry Cheesecake, Rasberry Sorbet, Berry Essence, Pistachio Praline or Dark Chocolate Tart (Ginger Biscuit Crumb, Espresso Ice Cream and Orange Glaze.

The above menu will be served with a range of Wildekrans Estate wine and cost of menu is R420 per person. Booking are essential so call 031 564 0360. Dinner served from 6pm to 9pm.
