If you’ve ever been enchanted by the tranquillity of the Italian countryside or dreamed of how it would feel to stand in the birthplace of gelato, gondolas and soul-stirring art, that dream now has the possibility of coming true.
The owners of Gino’s restaurant in Stellenbosch are giving away a dream holiday for two to their families’ hometown of Monte San Giacomo in the south of Italy as part of their 21-year anniversary celebration. The competition is to thank their customers for 21 years of loyal patronage, cherished memories and for being part of the Gino’s Stellenbosch legacy. The prize package includes two return flights from Cape Town International Airport and a seven-night stay in Monte San Giacomo – which lies just east of the Amalfi Coast.
“We are proud of the fact that many of our original customers are loyal patrons who still frequent our restaurant; often with their children and grandchildren. This trip is our way of celebrating the 21-year history we share together, and to have two lucky people discover the wonder of Italy and learn about where our authentic taste and flavour comes from,” said owner Domenico Mazza.
The competition is run in conjunction with the Zapper mobile payment app. To enter, participants must download Zapper free from their smartphone app store, scan the competition QR code and pay R10 with the app, then answer the following question: How old is Gino’s Stellenbosch this year?
Clients can enter as many times as they like until the cut-off date on 30 July 2017. Winners will be announced on 12 August 2017 by Gino’s Restaurant and on the Zapper SA Facebook page. Ts&Cs apply.
