Worcester-born singer and songwriter Robin Fourie (aka Die Hooflig) has released his latest music single, Hoevêr, across a number of major digital platforms including Apple Music.

This 45-year-old artist and music mentor, who is known as “the godfather of Boland Hip Hop” in South Africa, is excited to share his latest music offering.

“Most people know me as a Rhyme Author. I wrote and produced this song because I enjoy performing and playing with words. Initially, I created platforms for others to perform, and release their own songs and now I get to share my own music too,” he says”

Robin is currently also an ambassador and mentor at the Afrikaanse Taal en Kultuur Vereeniging’s (ATKV) Crescendo programme, where they mentor up and coming Afrikaans musos.

Releasing his own music is Robin’s way of showcasing his own musical talents on stage, something he is normally doing from behind the scenes at every ATKV Crescendo performance or event.

“I am passionate about sharing knowledge about music to other aspiring musicians. Music is something that allows me to express who I am and what I feel and I believe it’s important to also help nurture up-and-coming talent.”
