As 2022 draws to a close, we invite you to ‘up your holiday ante’ at Avondale Wine Estate and FABER restaurant this summer. Offering a host of memorable activities and experiences, including fabulous fare and award-winning wines, it guarantees something for everyone!

Situated just outside Paarl on the slopes of the Klein Drakenstein mountains, Avondale is well-known for its range of extraordinary award-winning organic and biodynamic slow natural wines as well as being home to the award-winning FABER restaurant.

  Join us in the Avondale Gardens whilst enjoying a glass of wine or gin cocktail accompanied by a cheese platter from OCHRA Deli.
  Friday afternoons from 15h00 to 18h00.
• Avondale Bike Park
  The Avondale Bike Park is located on Avondale and forms part of our exciting new outdoor and active offering. The Avondale Bike Park SHUTTLE DAY takes place on the longest flow trail on the African continent. Come and experience the thrill of the Avondale Flow Trail, a terrain-induced roller coaster experience. The Avondale Flow Trail starts high up in ECHO VALLEY where you can enjoy magnificent views of Paarl and beyond. You then move at high pace through the epic ROCK N ROLL section which includes some incredible jumps. This is followed by a cruise through the shady PINE LAKE section and then into the bouncy terrain of BUCHU BOUNCE. Watch out for PUFF ADDER ALLEY, a place of exhilarating jumps and wildlife. The flow trail then finishes with a bang in the END OF EDEN section. The Avondale Flow Trail is an epic adventure that is not to be missed!

  Enjoy a guided tour through our wine cellar explaining the winemaking process and what makes Avondale Wines Estate so unique.

• • Avondale Equestrian ‘Bring and Ride’ Centre
    Out rides are open to the public and take place on the beautiful Avondale 300ha Estate. You will have the opportunity to explore the rivers, dams, farm roads, vineyard paths, trails and mountain tracks.
