E! VIP – Welcome To Sarkodie’s World
NBCUniversal International Networks & Direct-To-previously announced a second season of its original production, E! VIP, returning to E! Africa (DStv channel 124) weekly from 8 January 2023.
E! VIP is back for a brand-new season to grant exclusive insight into the lives and careers of the most notable and high-profile celebrities from across Africa. Viewers can look forward to uncovering the stories of stars from South Africa, Ghana, Kenya and Nigeria, including Sarkodie, Jo-anne Reyneke, Daniel Churchill, Boity Thulo, Yvonne Nelson, Gert-Johan Coetzee, Nasty C, Kate Kamau, Yemi Alade, Mihlali and Fireboy.
The episode featuring Sarkodie will air on 8 January 2023 at 20:00 CAT on E! Africa (DStv channel 124), with episodes available on Universal + immediately after.
“I always believed that winning a BET, MTV or Grammy award was my goal in life. But when I found out that I was going to have a daughter, and then when she was born, she without a doubt became the most important thing in my life to date. She is the definition of real love, and what real happiness feels like”, says Sarkodie about his daughter.
Sarkodie’s comments on the creative process that comes through in his work, “I’m an artist; I paint, I draw and sketch. I got used to expressing what I felt through painting or sketching, before I fell in love with music by listening to it. It became therapy at a certain point, that’s where I used to channel my energy”, added Sarkodie.
