Daniel Mouyal Responds After Roc Nation Deletes His Albums: “Everything Happens for a Reason”

Originally from Miami, Daniel Mouyal made ripples across New York’s underground scene in 2019-2020, performing in Queens and Brooklyn as Dada Major. He released hits like Joker WorldStarHipHop, I Try, and Brigade.

In summer of 2024, caught the attention of A&R Rel Carter, Jay-Z’s nephew, leading to inking a deal with Roc Nation Distribution under a rare 85-15 royalty split, and publishing from You Already Know Records. With Roc Nation, he released two albums, Dada Major Returns and A New World, plus singles Por Cual Cruzar and Forever (Afro House Remix), and the music video Foursome watch here.

Despite his momentum, Roc Nation unexpectedly removed both albums from major platforms. Still, Daniel isn’t slowing down—his single Location with Lil Wayne, released on Lil Wayne’s YouTube channel, has already hit over 235,000 views watch here.

Now based in Los Angeles, Daniel says, “Everything happens for a reason. Things will only get better.” With major collaborations and a clear vision for his career, he’s ready for the next chapter—and a deal that matches his aspirations.
