  • Last year August saw the  Hanover Park-born-and-bred Rubain, 34, deliver a sold-out concert experience – the first time a South African gospel act has managed to do so at Grand Arena.
  • And now, Rubain is aiming to deliver the goods with a second sold-out concert expeirence – cementing his records as the first ever local gospel musician to do this.
  • He is currently 600 tickets short of a sold-out concert experience at Grand Arena this weekend.
  • Pinkster in GrandWest 2020 is production number 10 for Rubain as a show producer – his biggest stage production to date.
  • The concert will see a host of other local gospel artists perform on stage alongside Rubain, as well as his all-male gospel Seuns van Sion. The group consists of Roland Miggels, Alton Zackay, Colin Mitchells, Kurt Coetzee as well as Rubain.
  • Rubain bills as “The Boyz II Men of gospel” and they released their first CD last  year August while also enjoying touring SA and appearing at various gospel concerts and festivals.
  •  “As five successful solo musicians, we saw the need for a new musical sounds as an all-male gospel music group. We have been working hard with writing and producing new music and have been recording in studio over the past few months. We can’t wait to share it with the world,” says Rubain.
  •  Tickets for this much-anticipated show can be purchased via Computicket at either www.computicket.com or via Checkers and Shoprite retail stores, countrywide, and are priced between R100 and R130 each.
