Daniel Jonck, a Grade 11 student at Treverton College, came 8th in the Kruger to Canyon Mountain Ultra Marathon on the 1-2 July. He competed in the 70km race split over two days; Day 1- 42km and Day 2- 29km. His time for the two days was 9 hours and 32 minutes. This was a fantastic achievement, and it must be noted that Daniel was also the youngest competitor in the race.
