RRB NTPC 2019 exam dates

The RRB NTPC 2019 exam schedule will be published on the RRB official website soon. Previously, the recruitment exam was scheduled between June to September 2019, which has been postponed later. However, the revised date of examination is not yet published by RRB.

RRB NTPC 2019 Eligibility Criteria

RRB conducts the NTPC exam to recruit for a variety of post that comes under Indian Railways. The eligibility criteria may vary based on the post you are applying for. Therefore, you must check the eligibility criteria for a particular post before you apply for it. As per the RRB NTPC 2019 exams, the candidates need to satisfy certain eligibility criteria that are as follows:

  • Nationality – The applicants must be a citizen of India, Nepal or Bhutan to be eligible to opt for the RRB NTPC 2019. Apart from that, migrants from Pakistan, East African counties, Burma, Sri Lanka, etc. who have settled down here are eligible to apply. Further, a Tibetan refugee who had come to India before 1st January 1962 and settled down here permanently can also apply for the job.

  • Age limit – The age limit to apply for level 1 post is 18 to 38 years. Besides, the age limit to apply for the technician and ALP posts is within 18 to 28yers.

  • Educational Qualification – The educational qualification for different posts is different. There are various job roles for undergraduate and graduate candidates.

RRB NTPC 2019 Job Roles

Depending on the job role you choose to apply, your exam pattern will vary. Railway Recruitment Board has different criteria for recruiting candidates in various posts. The job roles are divided into two categories – graduate and undergraduate-level posts.

Stages of RRB NTPC 2019

RRB NTPC 2019 selection procedure consists of multiple steps. Your selection process may vary depending on the post you are applying for. The selection is strictly based on candidates’ merit only. There are numerous stages of RRB NTPC 2019 exam, and they are as follows:

  • Computer-based RRB NTPC Prelims test or CBT stage 1.

  • Computer-based RRB NTPC Mains test or CBT stage 2.

  • Typing Test OR RRB NTPC Aptitude Test. In case you are opting for the post of Senior Clerk cum Typist and Senior Time Keeper etc. then you need to prepare for the typing test. Whereas, you need to prepare for RRB NTPC Aptitude Test if you are going for the post of Traffic Assistant or others.

  • Document verification.
