Volunteer Ministers continue to assist even during lockdown one

Ithuteng Elderly Home was one of the recent elderly homes visited by the Scientology Volunteer Ministers, so they get protected from covid-19.  While not the first visit, staff from the Home report that they noticed no positive covid-19 cases were found ever since they get visited by the Scientology Volunteer Ministers.

One of the staff sent in a message expressing his thanks, “The way the Scientology Volunteer Minister sanitize our institution, is very impressive! So far, ever since they started to sanitize our institution, we have never had a positive case of Covid 19! We are very impressed and we are very appreciative of the fact that they come every weekend to sanitize the place. Our place is safe thanks to them and we really applaud them! Thank you so much for all you are doing.  You are doing an excellent job!”

The Volunteer Ministers say they are honored to help the elderlies.  “It is with great pleasure we are assisting these people.  They worked all their life so it is just fair that they are assisted now,” said Sandile Hlayisi, Public Affairs Director for the Scientology Volunteer Ministers.  He alleges that hundreds of elderly homes have been sanitized in five of the South African provinces to ensure those people were protected.

Hlayisi also confirms that despite the fact that the country is now on lockdown one, people are still calling in for assistance in decontamination and they are still providing the service at their own cost.

“We have been at it, helping our fellowman, for the past six months.  Because we are on lockdown one does not mean we can relax.  Other countries are now going through a second wave of covid-19, we are still working hard to avoid we go through that,” says Hlayisi.
