Superb support for the Jes Foord Foundation Handbag Project

Motion Tronic recently handed over two boxes filled with items needed for rape comfort bags to The Jes Foord Foundation following a staff collection campaign during the month of August in support of their Handbag Project.

The Handbag Project relies on the support of the community to donate new or used handbags containing items that can assist a rape victim during the initial reporting process at the police.

“Thanks to Motion Tronic team we were able to hand over two boxes filled with the required items needed to fill each comfort bag – such as facecloths, soap, toothpaste and toothbrush, deodorant, panties, sanitary pads, tissues, notebooks, colouring-in crayons and books,” says Bradley Douglas – Motion Tronic Director.

The Jes Foord Foundation makes up and distributes an average of four hundred rape comfort bags monthly.  “Thank you to the Motion Tronic team for their support and generosity,” says Trish Gabb from the Jes Foord Foundation.
