Excitement filled the air at Mpumelelo Primary School in Tswelopele, Tembisa township in Johannesburg as Morning Live‘s “On THE ROAD” campaign made a special stop to engage with learners and donate much-needed supplies.
Broadcaster Stacey Holland was on the ground, chatting with the school’s principal and enthusiastic students who were thrilled about the visit. The campaign, focused on giving back to the community, provided sports equipment and sanitary products to support the young learners.
Students Overjoyed by the Visit

The school received soccer balls and menstrual hygiene products, addressing both recreational and essential health needs. The students, many of whom are aspiring soccer players, proudly revealed their favorite teams and players—with Orlando Pirates and Mamelodi Sundowns being top picks.
Representing Tembisa with Pride
Adding to the excitement, one learner revealed that her soccer team would soon represent Tembisa in district competitions, a moment of pride for the entire school.
