1 in 9 South African women will be diagnosed with breast cancer in their lifetime. Kwena Square is proud to announce its partnership with the Cancer Association of South Africa (CANSA) in hosting a special event aimed at raising cancer awareness and supporting CANSA’s efforts in cancer research, education, and patient care. CANSA provides assistance to over 500,000 patients and their families each year.
This event is part of Kwena Square’s ongoing commitment to making a positive impact in the community. Virgin Active Little Falls will sponsor a community workout in support, the event will take place at 8am at Kwena Square shopping centre, offering participants an opportunity to make a positive impact in the fight against cancer.
As part of the event, Kwena Square will host a Shavathon in collaboration with CANSA, where community members can shave or spray their hair in a show of solidarity with cancer survivors and those currently battling the disease.
Donations made will go directly toward CANSA’s programs supporting cancer patients and caregivers.
