In a bid to meet the needs of the changing socio-economic landscape, PPC has provided cricket equipment valued at R46 000.00 to Bosmont Primary School in the Eldorado community. This is the second time PPC is contributing to the school having donated two cricket pitches last year.

In recognition of the need in the communities in which we operate, we have continued to work with them in a sustainable manner. The partners have come together to give the school and community sustainable value that encourages them to experience a better quality of life.

Rajesh Harripersadh, PPC General Manager Inland Sales explains, “Empowerment at PPC is living our brand promise of STRENGTH BEYOND daily. The learners and community from Bosmont Primary School will benefit from this promise. The donation will allow the learners to be involved in cricket, keep the children in the community off the streets and encourage teamwork as the sport forces members to work together in a team”

The partnership with the school will have a positive and healthy lifestyle while creating a platform for meaningful interaction amongst underprivileged communities and learners.

“The donation is an effort to create a positive impact in disadvantaged communities and schools. In recognition of the tough economic times that have affected us during the lockdown, the partners have come together to give the community a better quality of life,” concluded Harripersadh.

PPC has access to life-changing skills and confidence through a partnership that has continued to enrich the lives of our future leaders and has given a new lease on life, realizing a different future.
