The Robin Hood Foundation is calling on the community to ‘Buy-a-Brick’, at a cost of R50 each, to help them raise R850 000.00 to build the Qhakaza Crèche (the name means ‘bloom’), situated in Ntshongweni, KwaZulu-Natal.
“There is an existing, incomplete structure which they have built over the years and we cannot wait to accelerate the movement of kindness and finish this labour of love and passion,” says Cindy Norcott – Founder of The Robin Hood Foundation.
Early Childhood Development remains one of The Robin Hood Foundation’s key focus areas. “The first seven years of a child’s life forms the foundation that shapes their future health, happiness, growth, development and learning achievement at school, in the family, the community and in life in general. We want to make sure these precious children get the best possible chance for success,” says Cindy.
Over the past five years The Robin Hood Foundation have successfully completed the following building projects: Siyanda Crèche (2017), Lalelani Primary – phase 1 (2018), Lalelani Primary – phase 2 (2019), Thando Labantwana Crèche (2019).
“With your help we can’t wait to build the Qhakaza Crèche and change the lives of the children in the Ntshongweni community,” says Cindy.
Each brick bought (R50 donation) is an entry into a lucky draw for the chance to win some fantastic prizes. So, for example: if you donate R500, you will receive ten entries into the lucky draw.

3rd prize: A case of 6 red wines
The lucky winners will be announced by the end of April 2022 and will be selected via a randomizer app.
