Reverend Chris Oyakhilome, president of the religious organization, Believer’s LoveWorld, an interdenominational Christian church, hosted a conference for leaders and partners of the Christ Embassy on July 14 and 15, 2018. Thousands of people from around the world gathered at the SSE Arena in Wembley for the event, with some guests travelling from Africa and North America for the two-day conference.

The event, dubbed “The Leaders and Partners’ Conference” by organizers, was the first of many programs with Pastor Oyakhilome, who has proclaimed 2018 as being the “Year of the Supernatural.” At the event, Pastor Oyakhilome encouraged leaders and partners in attendance to join his ministry and Christ Embassy for future conferences. Pastor Oyakhilome was quoted as saying, “We are taking this thing to another whole new level by the power of the Holy Ghost.” The pastor also explained that he had come to London to spread the word of God with all attendees in hopes of “catapulting everyone to a new pedestal of faith”.

Pastor Chris Oyakhilome is a pastor, healing minister, television host and best-selling author. The pastor has focused on his ministry for more than 30 years and is a prolific writer. His book, the “Rhapsody of Realities” is a best-seller and has been distributed around the world in over 900 languages. Over 500 million copies of the book have been distributed worldwide. Oyakhilome also started the Christian Satellite Network in Africa. The 24-hour network has spawned five satellite stations, including the LoveWorldTV in the UK, LoveWorld SAT in South Africa, LoveWorld PLUS in Nigeria, LoveWorld Canada and LoveWorld USA. The flagship program on the network is “Atmosphere for Miracles”, a television program that showcases what it alleges to be miracles from God around the world.

Pastor Oyakhilome and his church are believers in miracles in keeping of the tradition of most Christians, who believe miracles are possible through Jesus Christ. Pastor Oyakhilome urges his followers that by invoking the name of Jesus Christ, miraculous healing can occur, citing examples of a man with nearsightedness being restored to perfect sight and a young woman suddenly being relieved of pain from ongoing ovarian cysts.

Organizers of the event in Wembley reportedly were pleased with the turnout of the Leaders and Partners’ Conference, which coincided with the 2018 World Cup. When questioned about the thousands in attendance at the event worldwide, the organizers proclaimed that they were happy with the “glorious demonstration of the Spirit of God through teaching, prophecies, miracles would impact leaders and partners in the BLW Ministry, for the greater works to be done.” Many attendees appeared to be overwhelmed with emotion at the event and expressed their admiration of Pastor Oyakhilome.

The event, however, is not the first hosted by Pastor Oyakhilome to attract such a large following. Pastor Oyakhilome has hosted several similar gatherings, including evangelical outreaches, teaching meetings and healing meetings in the United States, South Africa, Ghana, Nigeria, the United Kindom and Canada. Indeed, one conference held in Nigeria boasted attendance by over 3.5 million people in one night.

Pastor Oyakhilome’s Leaders and Partners’ Conference appears to continue his demonstrated commitment to lead as many people as possible into the teachings of Christianity.
