Whilst his talents and passions may include acting and social media campaigns, Kyle’s recent obsession is that of travel and lifestyle. He so fondly describes travel as “gaining perspective through nature’s eyes, its allowing life to teach you the lessons that humanity cannot” and hopes to continue to share his experiences and views of nature, travel, luxurious locations, the outdoors and all the sights and settings of our beautiful country with his loyal fans and followers.
With successful campaign alignments with highly esteemed brands such as The Rovos Rail, and many more, Kyle’s ‘travel resume’ is quickly becoming an attraction on its own.
So given, when we heard about his latest venture with Nox Rentals; being a “Mansion Takeover Creator” and visiting some luxurious villa’s in Camps Bay; we just had to get the inside scoop – direct from the travel and lifestyle guru himself.
“Nox Rentals is a short-term rental property management company based in Camps Bay, Cape Town. They manage premium properties and consider property owners to be their partners. They maximise their partners’ returns by focusing on short-term holiday rentals (although they do long-term, film and corporate letting as well),” he said.Give us the exclusive insight on the Nox Rentals Mansion Creator Takeover and what we can expect?
Kyle: Beautiful views of Cape Town and a new outlook into holiday rental for the family, I like to say that’s it’s a patio with a different view of the beautiful Mother City. I take you on a tour of the beautiful mansion and the Camps Bay villa. More importantly we showcase the experience and truly the top notch service that Nox Rentals provides for its customers.
As a ‘Mansion Takeover Creator’, each with their own flair and flavour, what do you believe you contribute to the pack?
Kyle: My friends always tell me that I am quite good at telling a story with a lot of my own personal emotions involved, I believe that I bring depth and soul to each experience I land on. Some creators go there to create “aesthetically” pleasing content for their grid where as I like to tell a story with the brand, specifically on where I am at in my life and why this fits so well within my ethos. It’s quite a deep approach, but I enjoy just being me and nothing more than that.Nox Rentals is said to give you “peace of mind and restore the fun factor” in luxury vacation rentals. What makes them the perfect partner for this campaign?
Kyle: Nox is ahead of their game in so many ways in this industry, not only do they have the front door keys that unlocks the beauty of the Mother City but can also approach itself to every different income bracket too. It’s not just about the 5 star mansions and villas, they have beautiful apartments in divine locations and every rental they let out is always tailored to their standard, which I know for sure is extremely high. I absolutely love working with partners who hold themselves to high standards, they are in control of the bar and decide how far it goes.Camps Bay sets the tone for this engaging and fun campaign – why was this location selected and what target audience do you hope to attract?
Kyle: In any mainstream media, when people talk about Cape Town and sell tourism to any consumer, they focus a lot on Camps Bay and its strip of amazing locations and eclectic vibe of local South Africans. The home’s that Nox Rentals has on its books within Camps Bay is unreal, a once in a lifetime opportunity to experience it. This was an easy choice for me.As part of an esteemed group of creators, what thought process went into determining who would take on this important role?
Kyle: If I speak on behalf of the Nox Rental marketing team, I believe the roles were chosen based on authenticity and being able to tell a story. Numbers don’t matter any longer, unfortunately the creator world has lost so much of its authenticity within how many followers each one has. I like to believe that the Nox Rental team went out of their way to choose creators that could tell a story about each place and not try and sell the dream. Nowadays viewers on social media are looking for ‘experience & storytelling’ and consumers no longer cling onto aesthetically pleasing outfits in a beautiful home as a way to market a place.Every year, Nox Rentals creates exceptional accommodation and vacation experiences for more than 20,000 guests. What do you think lends to their success in this regard?
Kyle: Service, Service, Service. Undeniably putting customer satisfaction as their core value really shows in how they treat you from the moment they have you booked in. I have had many of my followers utilize the platform and I always get such amazing feedback from them about the service and standard of Nox Rentals. Then we can talk about the experiences, each tailored to your trip. From being able to help you navigate conversations with a private chef, organize a dinner party you’d like to host, daytime activities to keep yourself busy and also nightlife spots within the Mother City. There really isn’t anything that Nox Rentals can’t do.
Residing in a mansion with fellow content creators, how does one handle the various personalities?
Kyle: It was actually really easy, I am a very easy going gentlemen. One thing about the creator world, there is never drama. We all just really understand. It was such a great experience meeting them all, sharing our stories of our time in the industry and being able to really just connect and learn from each other.
Who are you most excited to share the takeover experience with?
Kyle: All of my followers mainly, I love my solitude so my time online is my time to connect and I love being able to tell my story and having full creative freedom over that.
“Travelling understands the lessons that it needs to teach, each time I take a trip it comes with a different life lesson that I needed to experience,” says Kyle Clark.
