Jeanne Brooks, the owner of Wicked Donuts, recently launched her first book in which she shares her journey to finding her life’s purpose.

‘A Recipe for Miracles’ is a compelling and powerful story of a young women who pushes herself to the brink in an exciting yet consuming quest to find her life’s purpose. Jeanne Brooks candidly and affectionately guides the reader through her life’s journey as she navigates the competing forces of family, faith, and mental illness before ultimately finding success as a baking entrepreneur in Durban. A Recipe for Miracles is an inspiring tale for any reader, young or old, who still believes in the combined power of miracles and tenacity.

“Most of us go through a phase in our lives when things feel completely hopeless. I found myself in such a place when I started writing this book and as I wrote it became evident that bad times don’t last forever and sometimes things have to fall apart for better things to take their place. I hope to encourage others to realise that losing it all may be the greatest catalyst to starting over and creating the life of your dreams. Never ever lose hope!” says Jeanne.

The book is available on Amazon Kindle in e-book and Paperback version:
