Finantier, an Indonesia-based Open Finance startup, announced today it has raised an undisclosed amount in pre-seed financing, led by East Ventures.
AC Ventures, Genesia Ventures and several unnamed investors also participated in the round.
Finantier plans to use the new funds to expand its team within the next few months and develop its proprietary technology.
The fintech firm, which also has a presence in Indonesia, is also eyeing an expansion into other emerging markets as its platform grows, with specific solutions adapted to each country.
Founded in 2020, Finantier allows businesses to build and deliver financial services to consumers in an efficient way by leveraging their digital footprint to improve their financial wellbeing.
Finantier claims its mission is to plug this gap by providing infrastructure and data products required by businesses to build the next generation of financial services. The startup enables digital platforms to securely work in collaboration with financial institutions to create personalised experiences for consumers, who can benefit from their data.
Finantier achieves that by offering an API and infrastructure that powers other fintech products. The company claims this would accelerate time to market and reduce costs while enabling businesses to benefit from its Open Finance ecosystem.
