According to A Review on Payment System in Q2 2019 released by the People’s Bank of China in August 22nd , banking financial institutions handled 52.671 billion E-payment, totaling at￥597.21 trillion. 18.738 billion online payment was handled, a year-on-year growth of 35.09%, totaling at ￥486.80 trillion, a year-on-year decrease of 0.12%. 23.74 billion mobile payment was handled, totaling at ￥79.46 trillion, a year-on-year increase of 59.03% and 26.37% respectively.
