iProperty Co-Founder Launches Home Rental Platform Instahome in Malaysia with A “7-Figure USD” Funding from Catcha

Patrick Grove, Co-founder of iProperty Group and Catcha Group, has joined hands with serial entrepreneur Eric Tan to launch an online home rental platform Instahome in Malaysia, with a “7-figure USD” seed funding.

The seed capital came from Catcha, Tan and early founding employees of Instahome.

Founded in September 2020, Instahome leverages new-age design and technology to help renters improve the home rental experience for tenants, agents and landlords.

Tenants can manage their homes using the platform to pay rent, collect rewards, find maintenance services and manage their relationship with the agents and landlords.

As per a press note, the platform provides 3D virtual tours, HD photos and videos of every listed homes, besides offering features such as scheduled home visits and maintenance services arrangements.

Instahome makes sure all the listings on the platform are unique, he claimed. Once a property is listed by its partner agent, Instahome will reject all future requests by other agents to list the same unit.

The startup claims it has so far signed up more than 100 agents across Klang Valley.
